Bath time doesn’t have to be scream time
We’ve all had toddlers go down the anti-bathing road. On the flip of a toddler dime, they suddenly go from bath time behind the easiest end to a normal day to something you dread and avoid until frankly, they smell.
The bath time trick to cure bath time blues
Each time my kids go through the “I will not take a bath” phase, I bust of my favorite bath time activities. It’s the cure-all for an anti-bath feelings that may be brewing.
I turn bath time into a fun toddler activity that’s so inviting, toddlers just have to jump right in and enjoy it.

Glow stick baths are as easy as they sound: crack a few, turn off the lights, toss them in the tub.
It’s kind of like a toddler rave bath.

This is a bath time activity so supervision must be at its highest level.
Glow sticks shouldn’t be put in mouths or bitten so make sure your toddler is out of the “will put everything in my mouth” phase. My oldest kids are 2.5 and 4 and have graduated into activities like this. My 13-month-old is currently on the no-glow stick list.
I know glow stick baths aren’t a new thing…
But they should most definitely be a thing that you add into your bath time gimmick rotation / bag of parenting tricks for when your toddler abruptly changes their position on bath time.
