I love when an activity takes nothing to set up but hold toddler attention spans for so much longer. Sticker names is our new favorite quick and easy toddler activity!

Toddler activities don’t have to take hours to prep or be fancy at all. Sometimes, the best toddler activities are the simplest activities.

Setting up Sticker Names is so easy!

Materials
(this list contains affiliate links)

  • Dot stickers
  • Construction paper
  • Thick black markers

Grab a piece of construction paper and write your toddler’s name on it. The goal: cover the letters with stickers.

How did this go for my kids?

My kids LOVED THIS. They sat quietly and worked so hard on this activity! My son (3 years old) worked for well over 20 minutes and my daughter (22 months old) worked for almost half an hour!

My son was able to cover all the letters with stickers. He worked so hard to do this!

My daughter took a more creative approach and decorated the paper with countless sheets of stickers. She’s a little young to follow the lines but loved being a part of the activity.

It didn’t matter – she had just as much fun pealing the stickers and placing them on the construction paper as my son did!

This activity is so simple, but it packs in a lot of learning:

There are so many extension for this activity!

Since doing sticker names, we’ve extended this into sticker shapes and sticker letters! My kids are loving this activity so much. They can’t get enough.

I love how quickly I can set this activity up vs how long they will play for. With under a minute of prep, they will sit and work for so long with their stickers. It’s a beautiful thing!

Toddler activities don’t have to be super complicated. Easy activities like sticker names are perfect for getting us to nap time.

    This looks so simple, but so productive for the kids! What a great way to help their fine motor skill skills. I also could teach my toddler colors and shapes during the activity!

    This would make a. Great car activity door trips or even on a plane jusrtneed to pack a small carry on ewith papers already for the to dot, names lines, sight swords, and blank to create a picture, great fun watt to pass the time, with little effort on moms part and little items to carry
