The obsession with dot sticker activities is real.
There’s no two ways around it: I am obsessed with dot sticker activities. I love dot stickers something fierce because they’re so easy. You can set up a million and one different activities with dot stickers and they are always a hit. Such a versatile little activity supply.
Something about dot stickers is just so engaging to toddlers and preschoolers. Maybe it’s the color. Maybe it’s the shape. Maybe it’s the endless ways to play with them.
It might also be because of this trick…
Dot stickers were the first stickers my kids were able to peel off themselves. Maybe that’s why they love them so much – they’ve always been really successful with them. Nothing kills an activity faster than a supply toddlers can’t use independently. But with dot stickers – they are always able to keep the activity going without much or any help from me.
Remove the inner white section of the sticker sheet. Yep, that’s it. By peeling that off, the stickers are 150%* easier to peel. My daughter was able to start these activities at 19 months old. Oh and ps: *obviously not a real statistic but it sounds about right.
The low down on where I get my dots.
I get my dot stickers from Amazon by the truck load at this point.
